My Vegan Hero

This little Italian sammy takes only 5 minutes to prepare.  Prep it in the morning and it will be perfectly marinated by lunch.

5 slices Field Roast Smoked Tomato Deli Slices
Hoagie roll
Shredded lettuce
Sliced tomatoes
Sliced red onion
Pickled pepper rings
Dried oregano or Italian seasoning
Salt and Pepper


Slice hoagie roll but not all the way through. Layer ingredients along entire length of roll. Season with oregano, salt and pepper. Drizzle with oil and vinegar.

Close sandwich, wrap tightly in plastic wrap and refrigerate for an hour to let flavors marry. Unwrap, serve and enjoy!
