Ingredients
1 tbsp olive oil
1 yellow or red onion, diced small
1 red pepper, diced small
2 Spicy Mexican Chipotle Sausages, lining removed, crumbled
½ tsp cumin
½ tsp chili powder
½ tsp cayenne pepper
½ tsp garlic powder
1, 7oz. Package Chao Creamy Original Shreds
Juice from 1 lime
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional garnish: chopped radishes, jalapeno, tomato, and cilantro for garnish
Preparations
Heat olive oil in a large saucepan on medium high heat. Sauté onions and peppers for 5-7 minutes. Add crumbled sausage to the pan and cook until crispy. Remove sausage, onion and pepper from the pan. Add cheese, milk, lime juice and spices. Mix until well combined with a whisk. Transfer into serving bowl. Add garnishes and serve.
